Gunboat is a naval vessel that appears only in Commandos 2: Men of Courage. It only appeared once in the mission The Guns of Savo Island as an enemy controlled vehicle that is guarded in the ocean. Once it spots you, it fires a rapid machine gun, but it can follow you if one of your men getting away.

- The Gunboat appearance bears a resemblance to a Vietnam War-era PBR. In real-life, the PBR was used by the US Navy during Vietnam War from March 1966 until the end of 1971.
- It is a Japanese counterpart of the German Patrol Boat in Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines.
- Most Commandos games are all set in World War II, it is impossible that a Vietnam War-era vessel has surprisingly added in the game.
- This vehicle is playable in Commandos 2: Destination Paris mod.
